My ex-colleague Doris did a spring-clean of her home and found loads of her mum's long-kept stuff. She did a Santa and distributed the stuff to some of us. Happiness is receiving a gift of old-school fabrics! Even if they are 30 years old. Thanks Doris! Not sure what I'm gonna make with them as yet, but I'm thinking hard! Endnote: My colleague just showed this post to her mum, who clarified that one piece of the striped cloth is actually 46 years old! Traditionally given at the birth of a baby, this was a gift for my colleague's elder brother :o
